Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion and Epidermal Leveling are procedures used to exfoliate a portion of the top layer of the epidermis, the stratum corneum.  A single treatment removes the dead skin cells leaving the skin feeling smooth.  One treatment can help the skin readily absorb home care products.  Several treatments can improve the skin’s elasticity, texture, tone and cell turnover.

Microdermabrasion TreatmentsAt Skin we use for microdermabrasion, state of the art Diamond Tips leaving your skin fresh and clean with NO PAIN AND NO DOWN TIME!  Before the treatment, we carefully assess the skin to make sure you are a candidate for microdermabrasion.  If it is determined that the skin is too fragile for this treatment, Epidermal Leveling is a great option.  It is a very thorough exfoliation, but is very gentle.

At Skin, we believe it makes sense to use these techniques as a prerequisite to beginning any skin care line as it removes the top portion of the Stratum Corneum and prepares your skin by allowing it to absorb the products and begin working immediately.
