New Patients

MD Esthetics, formerly Skin, A Medical Spa, is excited to meet you, address your concerns, and develop a treatment plan that is customized for you during your complimentary new patient appointment! At this appointment, we set aside ample time to perform a medical screening, listen to your needs, and develop your personalized treatment plan.
Note: This will be your longest appointment with us – promise! (2 hours)

What to expect during your new patient appointment:

During your new patient appointment, we have you fill out paperwork that goes over your health history, as well as your areas of concern and skincare goals. Then, we will first have you meet with our Nurse Practitioner for your complimentary health assessment where she will review your health history with you to medically clear you for any treatments, services, or products that may be recommended to you during your consultation. Then, we will have you meet with the provider that is best suited to target your concerns for your complimentary skin evaluation where she will develop a treatment plan unique to you based on your goals and concerns expressed in your paperwork.


MD Esthetics covers the cost of parking for every client at each of his/her appointments! In the past, we were able to provide complimentary parking passes, however, due to new ownership of the parking lot, those passes are no longer valid. Now, the client simply informs our staff the amount spent on parking for that appointment, and we reimburse you!

There is a metered parking lot right across the street from our Practice at 333 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510. There is also the Freemason Parking Garage nearly across the street at 161 W Freemason St, Norfolk, VA 23510. I like to provide the address of the lot, because if you type in the address to a smart phone or GPS it will direct you straight to the parking lot. If you do park in the metered lot across the street, you’ll want to use the black kiosk in the front of the lot to pay for parking and it will print out a ticket for you to keep for your appointment. The machine will ask for your license plate number, I like to inform clients of this ahead of time to save you a trip back to your car to double check! If paying the meter, be sure to allot 2 hours for your new patient appointment. If you are uncertain of how much time to allot for your appointment, please select the maximum time of 12 hours or call/text our office for assistance. We look forward to seeing you!

Dear Client,Thank you for choosing MD Esthetics, formerly Skin A Medical Spa. We strive to render excellent and personalized care to our clients. In order to be consistent with this philosophy, we use an appointment system that sets aside ample time dependent on the client’s current needs. If you do not show for your appointment, or notify us of your inability to keep your appointment by phone at least 24 hours in advance, the time that has been allotted for your visit cannot be used to treat another client and is time lost to our office. With that in mind and in order to keep costs as low as possible, we have devised the following cancellation policy:

If an appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, we require a 24 hour notice, barring unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.

If a 24 hour notice is not provided, you will be charged a $150 fee.

In keeping with the above policy, we will require credit card or other payment method information when scheduling an appointment to include initial evaluation, all injectables, and aesthetician services.
