Your health reflects in your skin. Your body works from a clean slate from the start, and throughout the years the damage shows from the different processes you go through. I am not saying to put down that cigarette (even though you should), or to stop falling asleep in your make up at night, I am asking you to start from the beginning and start to realize the difference in small daily changes that will make you feel better inside and out.
Step one: Realize it’s okay, and that it will be okay. You have already decided you want to take care of yourself, so let’s do it together.

Step two: Remind yourself EVERY DAY that you love yourself, (okay maybe you don’t right now, but you will)
How do you do that?
Understand this first: Around 1890 (a looooong time ago) some scientists got together and uniformly believed that our brain has already been mapped out to some preconceived notion that our brain controls certain functions.
Well they were wrong; I mean you can’t blame them, who wouldn’t be wrong hundreds of years later.

The science and the secret is called Neuroplasticity. It means that our thoughts CAN change the structure and function of our brains. What does that mean for you? EVERYTHING. Scientists are proving that our brain can endlessly adapt to different situations, thoughts and feelings that we have every day. It is dynamic, self-activated, and fine-tuned to your everyday thoughts. This means forget the preconceived thoughts that you can’t ever feel good about your skin. Forget the thought that just because your family members have bad skin, that you must have bad skin too. Because you don’t! You have the power to change the structure of your brain, and it can be completely life-altering and you will see by thinking if there is a will, there will be a way!
